Expat. Roasters began as a passion project to foster the burgeoning coffee and barista community in Bali. Today, led by award-winning head barista Shae Macnamara, we are a team of dedicated professionals working to introduce the culture of a good brew across Indonesia and beyond, one cup at a time. We work closely with local Indonesian producers and farmers—over 50 farming families within 40km of our roastery to source the finest quality beans. This hands-on approach allows us to experiment with processing methods and farming techniques, ensuring over 95% of our beans are sourced from the best of Indonesia.
